LTSP - or thin clients

hi all, i am in the process of setting up an LTSP or thin client network. \
I have most of it working, but would like some more information if anyone has set one up and have had issues with it
I have had a fair amount of success with running wine on the ltsp server for the clients, and in running office 2000 on wine if anyone needs some help.
any comments are appreciated, and if there is an expert out there, could we have this as an item of discussion for the next meeting

how fast is your test machine and how much ram??
also, would be interested in the GRUB configuration.
lastly, did u burn ROMs for the NIC's used in the clients for the LTSP, or are you booting from floppy drive.
