Hello all. I'm one of two sys admins at NQ-ITX at JCU (I'm the "trainee"; ie. the one who fixes all the other guy's mistakes).
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea how to modify which services show up in the redhat-config-services wizard thingy (System Settings->Server Settings->Services). We've set up the MySQL daemon to run as a service, and it does (now that I fixed it). The thing it, it doesn't show up in the list. I had to find, then edit the /etc/init.d/mysqld file and it seems to be working fine now, but it doesn't show up in the list.
As I said, RedHat 9 (possibly 9.1, not sure), and KDE.
Can anybody tell me why it mightn't be in the list?
Cheers,
Matty

I use mandrake 9.0, I've just downloaded WinMX. some functions are not working. the title and artist don't appear on the search results page. there are some numbers in that column, The download page cant display any info while the track is downloading. the program works but it would be nice to have the missing info. If you can help me with this please don't use any big words. you are dealing with a newbie
