just bumbled in here from cyberspace and this forum looks great.

I would like to know what you think is the best OS for an IBM Thinkpad 600E? At the moment i am using KDE 3.3, but it does fail every once in a while and i cannot figure out how to get the WLAN up and running. So once i get it going, that will be my next question.

I am currently looking at doing some work on the TLUG website (in conjunction to our move to the new server)

I have short listed the CMSs to

• Drupal (as we currently use) see: tlug-drupal.webs.bailey.homelinux.net
• Mambo see: tlug-mambo.webs.bailey.homlinux.net

Which style of system do you prefer and why?

Don't worry about the default content on the Mambo site at this time and the lack of content on the Drupal site. Both can be easily fixed.
